The following criteria for this scholarship will apply.
1. The scholarship recipient should be of Jamaican nationality.
2. The recipient should be a full time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field of Management Studies, Accounting, Economics or any other business related degree programmes at any of the island’s Accredited Universities.
3. The scholarship will be valid for the final year of study only and will cover the cost of tuition and books up to a maximum of Four Hundred and Eighty Thousand Dollars ($480,000.00) in the academic year 2022-2023.
4. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
5. Have some knowledge of credit unions and co-operative principles
6. The recipient will be required to do 20 hours of voluntary/community service during the year of the award.

Ineligibility
1. The members of staff of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League and its subsidiaries, the Board of Directors, members of the Supervisory or other committees as well as their immediate families are ineligible.
2. A recipient who is receiving already benefiting from a scholarship from any institution (including Credit Unions) is ineligible.
