Eligibility

Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League are not eligible to participate in this competition.
Open to active members of Jamaican Credit Unions.
Multiple entries are allowed, but each entry must include a separate story.
Participants must submit their story via the official campaign website creditunionsofja.com.
Must be 18 years or older to participate.

How to Enter

Story Submission:
Submit a brief letter explaining “What being a part of a credit union means to you and how it has impacted your life” on the campaign website.
Member Verification:
Participants must be a verified Credit Union member to be eligible.
Selection Process
Judging Panel:
A panel of Credit Union representatives will select 10 finalists based on the impact and authenticity of their stories.
Winners:
Ten winners will be chosen. Winners will be notified by phone and email.

Prize Details

Each of the 10 winners will receive a $30,000 shopping spree at a local supermarket (based on the winner’s location).
Winners will have 15 minutes to shop.
The shopping spree will be filmed for content.

General Terms

Winner Requirements:
Winners must be active Credit Union members at the time of the event.
Multiple Entries: Participants can submit more than one entry, but can only win once.
Prize Limitations: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Campaign Content: By entering, participants consent to the use of their story for marketing purposes.
Ineligibility: Employees of Credit Unions of Jamaica and their families are not eligible.

Campaign Launch: November 15, 2024
Shopping Spree Events: December 16-20, 2024
Liability and Disclaimer
Liability: Credit Unions of Jamaica is not responsible for any lost or late entries or technical issues.
Force Majeure: The campaign may be cancelled or modified due to unforeseen events.
Data Protection: Personal data will be handled according to Credit Unions of Jamaica’s privacy policy.
