Through a joint effort between WOCCU and CCCU, The Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League Limited (JCCUL) distributed branded Credit Unions of Jamaica masks to all 25 credit unions in Jamaica to protect their frontline staff members from exposure to the coronavirus
The Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League (JCCUL, a co-operative central body embracing all the Credit Unions in the island, was conceptualized in July 1942 at the 2nd Convention of Credit Unions calling for the formation of a League. JCCUL’s constitution was adopted on February 22, 1943 and five (5) Credit Unions were registered as members.
