First Regional emerged as a larger, safer Credit Union in 2006, with the amalgamation of the St. Ann Co-operative Credit Union and the St. Mary Co-operative Credit Union. Since 2006, First Regional has garnered a number of awards and achievements, and has marked various milestones. The latest milestone was its strategic merger in July 1, 2013 with the Round Hill Hotel Staff Co-operative Credit Union and the Hospitality Industries Co-operative Credit Union, which saw First Regional expanding its scope of operations island-wide to serve workers in Jamaica’s hospitality industry. 

FIRSTREGIONALCCU is a member of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League, the trade association representing the interests of Credit Unions in Jamaica.

Who May Join 

• Were born in the parishes of St Ann and St Mary
  • Live and/or work in St. Ann and St. Mary
  • Are staff of the credit union;
  • Are their immediate families (mothers, fathers, spouses, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews)
• Are employees, former employees and pensioners of Round Hill Hotel; its subsidiaries, its shareholders and taxi drivers, purveyors, and their immediate families (their mothers, fathers, spouses, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews)
• Are employees, former employees, pensioners of Jamaica’s Hospitality Industries, their taxi drivers, purveyors, and their immediate families (their mothers, fathers, spouses, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews).
